The new girl in Spain’s National
Bowls Squad is not only the tallest but by far the most experienced. Her
outstanding bowling achievements in the U.K. earned her a place in their elite
Professional Bowls Association. Shortly after winning the World Mixed Pairs
Championship at Potters with Greg Harlow in 2007, she had to retire from bowls
through ill-health. Jo and her husband Geoff now live in Spain and have joined
Benitachell B.C. Treatment for her slipped disc problem and a change of
delivery have enabled her to bowl again and be welcomed into the Spanish squad.
