With my return to Spain from the New Zealand bowling season November 2008 to May 2009, and having a great time bowling at local level, and the highlight was to bowl in the New Zealand Nationals, this year held in Auckland (its an open competition) allowed to bowl in the Nationals as a Spanish bowling club member(Mijas).

All games played on natural greens with over 700 men bowlers and 400 lady bowlers competing in this years event, and could only be held with so many bowling clubs in and around Auckland, 31 bowling clubs used.

If any Spanish bowler is interested, Bowls New Zealand sent every club member a quarterly Bowls Magazine, the last was sent out a few months ago, as the cost was to great to bowls NZ, with the introduction of Upshot to be sent out on the Internet, all you need to do is fill in a simple form, like e-mail address, and it has a drop down box for your country.

THE big plus is, if you registrar before the 30th June 2009, you have a chance to win a set of Henselite bowls...all for free....and THE big plus again is a great presented bowls magazine and well worth a look.
