Dear Fellow Bowlers,
As the date gets
ever nearer to the commencement of the National Lawn Bowls
Championships of 2011, I can assure you that your National
Competition Committee have everything in hand. In stating this if
you think all is smooth and nobody is panicking, then you have never
organised an event such as this.
I have just returned from 10 days in the UK, I was visiting family
and not as many thought attending the Royal Wedding, although I am
sure the yellow blazer would have looked good in the abbey.
A reminder for all, as there seems to be a little confusion on time.
The opening ceremony will take place at VISTABELLA Bowls Club on
Friday 13th May 5.30PM for 6.00 PM, and as in previous
years those parading will be expected to dress as follows,MEN---
Long Trousers with white tops or club colours and LADIES---Skirts or
Long Trousers with white tops or club colours. NO SHORTS to be worn
if you wish to parade.
