Spanish National Lawn Bowls Championships 2011 14-28 May 2011 18/02/2011 Dear fellow bowlers, I am pleased to announce, that the draw for the National championships took place at San Miguel bowls Club on Thursday 17th February in front of a good sized audience. Due to the number of entries, please note that the opening ceremony will now take place on the evening of Friday 13th May 5.30 P.M. for a 6.00 P.M. start, at Vistabella Bowls Club, followed by drinks & buffet. The order of play for the tournament is as follows, LADIES—commencing with TRIPLES--- RINKS--- PAIRS--- SINGLES. And for the GENTS commencing with PAIRS--- SINGLES--- RINKS--- TRIPLES. Please a reminder for you, that both the Ladies and Gents singles will be played in SETS play, ( two sets of nine ends, and a three end tie break if necessary) The draw will be with you as soon as possible, however to remind you that the five playing venues will be VISTABELLA, GREENLANDS, SAN MIGUEL, EL RANCHO and QUESADA, with QUESADA holding all semi-finals and finals at the conclusion of the tournament. Also all five venues will be open for practice on Friday 13th May from 10.00A.M.-- 4.00 P.M., dress can be casual, but with proper bowling shoes.
