ANDALUCIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

“A FEAST OF BOWLING”

30 JAN – 6 FEBRUARY

This year’s Championships have attracted 60 Bowlers from the Clubs in Almeria and, for the first time, Ed and Julia Rees from Isla Canela Bowls Club in the Border Town of Ayamonte.

It is the largest Bowling event to be staged in Malaga Province since the Spanish National Championships in May 2003. With the exception of 31 January, when Santa Maria will stage one day of the Pairs competition, Benavista and Superbowl will be the joint hosts.

The Tournament comprises Ladies and Gents Singles, Single Sex, or Mixed, Pairs and Fours and this represents the format  requested by the majority of the Clubs in Andalucia.

We would like to encourage those Bowlers not competing, and anyone interested in seeing “top quality” competitive Bowling,  to come along to the venues where a full range of Snacks and Refreshments will be available throughout each day.

We would strongly advise anyone interested in attending Matches from the Quarter Finals onwards to check with the Competition Co-ordinator at each venue ( details below ).
