CALB Fours League

February games in the Fours League were not affected by the changeable weather and were completed as scheduled.  In all 3 divisions sides from Indalo maintained consistent performances to finish strongly and take the honours.  In division 1 victories away at Almeria and home to La Mata created a lead of 11 points over second placed Almeria with one game to play.  Defeat at Cabrera by 12 - 2 made little difference as Almeria lost by the same score at La Mata and the title was won.  Indalo entertained Cabrera in the final game in division 2 and needed to gain 12 points out of a possible 14 to secure top spot.  Victory by 57 shots and winning on all 4 rinks secured maximum points and the division was won in fine style.  A week earlier a 7 – 7 draw away at Cabrera was good enough to win the division 3 title.  Congratulations to Indalo for winning all 3 divisions and setting the benchmark for future league programmes.
