Royal Bank of Scotland

12th-19th March 2008- Superbowl BC

Report by David Jones, photos by Craig Lewis.

The annual Royal Bank of Scotland competition took place at Superbowl from 12th to 22nd March. it had the regular format of open pairs and triples. There were some excellent matches in both disciplines with some matches going against the expected results. The weather, up until the finals day was excellent and the bowlers responded to it with great spirit, the athmosphere around the greens being very spirited. The rains came on the final day and this had to be postponed until the Saturday, but a very large crowd turned out to see the two finals, which were played simultaneously. Both of the matches were a little one sided but were both fought out until the last end.

The results were:-
