Benavista Session Report

Training at Benavista BC Gathers Momentum!

Sept. 2010 - Benavista BC

Report by John Carr

Following on from the first session, designed to improve bowling skills, in May 2010, two further successful sessions were held in September, with two different groups. The first was G & C, an enthusiastic sports oriented group, who needed help in basic skills and who responded well to the instruction. The second group consisted of more experienced bowlers from Benavista Club itself and again some basic skills were emphasised  in a friendly non-critical environment.

John Carr, the Malaga Instructors Group Coordinator, had spent some time liaising with Tony Farmer and other club officials in the planning the sessions. Once again, John was able to call on the services of fellow Instructor, Barry Pemberton, and Malaga Provincial Squad Captain, Malcolm Greenwood, to assist in the sessions.

It is hoped that further sessions will improve Benavista Club’s endeavour to regain the upcoming Winter League Title!
