Spanish Collegio Maravillas

Some of the students from the college Maravilla, joined a
few officers of Benalmadana Bowls Club, with a very
receptive attitude to learning the game of Bowls, the game
that Sir Francis Drake played, when the Spanish Armada
sailed up the English Channel.
Jim Neilson, Lennie and Amber Dineen and Alan Page, encouraged the Students to play Bowls with Nicky Jane Chapman the English teacher at the college, encouraging the students on English spoken words, with a little Spanish from Jim and Alan.
The comments by DJ Hilton, the Federation Andaluza de Bolas, (Bolos Sobre Cesped) Malaga Delegate, whom looked on, stated the students took to the game and there were three immediate potential bowlers from the squad, who's delivery and concept of bowls after such a short coaching lesson, was exceptional.
Just maybe, it is because they are from the squad of the second best Handball Team in Spain.
Watch this space for further events for Students and persons of all ages, whom wish to join in, will be made most welcome.
