29/12/2011 - Residential Qualification To Play For Spain - Further Points - Murray Johns

This is something I was asked by potential Players, and it is
something many are confused about.

In view of what you have said in your reply could I please
ask how it is possible for an Irishman to play for Scotland
and a Scotsman to represent Wales within weeks of moving
there?

You also have the situation where David Gourlay went to live
in Australia and was almost immediately representing them
in the international field.

Does the World Bowls situation not apply there also?

I think you can understand why questions are being asked.

Why not email your comments or opinions to Bowlers Forum section of www.bowlinginspain.com?  Where appropriate, please accompany the report with photos.
