31/05/2009 - Tony Millington - In Support of Ken Tebbenham

Dear all,

Please pass on lots of thanks to Ken Tebbenham for his excellent article.  I can confirm, because I have also being researching the subject, that the laws are the same in Andalucia basically the only difference between Andalucia and Valencia is the numbers allocated the articles in estatutos.  It is quite clear that clubs must be registered with the Autonomia and that for those who wish to play in authorised matches particularly at Regional and National level must be members of the appropriate Federation.  For local league matches and matches between clubs locally, as in other sports, the need for individual members to be federated is not essential but as Ken says the law does require all clubs and or associations to register with the regional government.

What Ken says with regard to CBBA did, however, come as a surprise and I hope the NEC members will do the right thing and respond to that at least.  I am not however holding my breath as a perusal of the forum will show that I asked for information on this thread some months ago and nothing was forthcoming.

kind regards to all,

Tony Millington
