Hello bowlers in Spain. This greeting comes to you from a very keen
lawn bowler who lives on the beautiful mid-north coast in the State
of New South Wales (of which the harbour city of Sydney is the
Capital) in Australia. In NSW there are 596 bowling clubs and I am
the bowls organiser at one of the smallest, but about to become one
of the biggest, of those clubs.
I have been fascinated to read all comments in your forum and am
totally unsurprised to discover that your bowls community is little
different to ours, in that there are people constantly "sniping" at
one another. It makes great reading. I too am known to be
a controversial character and people either love me (they are the
majority apparently judging by the supportive emails I receive) or
vehemently hate me for my published opinions. You may get some
