04/09/2007 - Rick Wright - Answers Deidre Leeming, (in verse)

Lighthearted Reply to Deidre Leeming.

In replying to Deidre I mean no offence
But I think in our sport we need common sense
So lets look once again at rule 52
I am not an umpire but this is my view

There are 2 parts on my body which are both called feet
One left one, one right one, both pretty neat
Now when I am bowling my feet can be seen
On the ends of my legs and both on the green

To help understand what I'm saying the name is a clue
They are FEET not OBJECTS as in rule 52
If you look again in the rule book, I think you will see
The case in question comes under rule 36.1.3.

Enjoy your bowling
