Throughout that time, OMM have sponsored numerous competitions, clubs and teams including the Spanish National Championships and the Spanish National Team. Recently, OMM moved the focus of our sponsorship from National level to club level, sponsoring competitions and events in clubs throughout Spain.
So who are we? OMM are Specialist Financial Advisers to expatriates living in Spain. With predominantly expatriate UK advisers, OMM specialise in providing tax planning and wealth management solutions to those who have made Spain their home. Our role is to help the clients maximise this enjoyment by offering investments or arrangements that can generate them an additional income, release equity from their property, help them minimise taxes due, and assist them in any other way through our ever growing umbrella of business partners.

Dirección General de Seguros in Madrid. Our licence no. is J-2126
and we are still one of the very few specialist investment advisers for
the expatriate community in Spain to have managed to satisfy the
authorities that our bona fides and experience satisfy the requirements
for operating in Spain.
In April 2007 OMM became a full member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain based in Barcelona. This membership adds to our credentials as a company and will give an extra assurance to our clients that they are dealing with a highly professional company.
Regulated brokers in Spain must carry a minimum level of Professional Liability Insurance. This ensures that, in the event of a regulated brokerage giving negligent advice which causes a financial loss to the client, that client can make a claim against the insurance carrier. In OMM’s case the insurance carrier is REALE, and we currently hold cover of 1,500,000 €. A copy of the policy document can be viewed here along with a copy of our authorisation from the DGS. There is also a strict complaints procedure set down by the DGS and this is dealt with by an external independent body.
At OMM we go further than simply abiding by our regulators compliance rules. We want to ensure that before any of our clients proceed with an investment they are fully informed of the possible risks and costs and we do a detailed study of their personal circumstances and financial situation. To do this we insist all clients complete our Confidential Client Questionnaire. Once the initial meeting has been held and the CCQ completed, we will prepare a detailed written report that sets out the clients circumstances, what they wish to achieve with the investment and how we recommend they do this and the proposed investments. The client will also receive a “Reasons Why” Letter signed by one of our Technical Directors before the investment is executed. By doing this we can be 100% confident that what we are doing is right for the client. We want our clients to be able to sleep at night, and not have to worry about their investments or have doubts about the financial adviser they have chosen.
Our clients are the most important persons in our business, and we know that if we don’t look after them in a correct manner someone else will. A clients relationship does not end with OMM when the investment is executed, it has only begun.
